Words Their Way
Below you will find the four site words that are included in all first grade spelling lists. Each week, students are asked to learn to spell four site words in addition to their pattern word list. It is our hope that the children will learn to spell these words and be able to use them appropriately in their writing. Check back regularly for updates.
Pattern lists come home each Monday. Because those lists are different for all students, they will not be included on our web site. Please contact teachers for more specifics if needed. A letter will be coming home soon about our spelling program.
